Gigondas " Domaine Les coteaux de Montmirail " 2019

For our reds, we are looking for gourmet and fresh wines, on a mild tannic basis. We work in traditional vinification, with bi-daily tasting of the vats, which allows us to master the extraction of the structure. Maceration under marc for 2 to 4 weeks, depending on the cuvées, in order stengthen  the melted and the elegance  of the tannins. Breeding on fine lees to preserve aromas and give a good fat while coating  the tannins.

Grape Varieties:

70% Grenache – 30% Syrah.

Terroir :

The estate is located on hillsides, in the heart of the exceptional terroir of the Massif des Dentelles de Montmirail.
Wine tasting : An intense and deep colour, with purple reflections. A complex nose with great finesse, on stewed black fruits, spices and floral nuances. The mouth is powerful and mineral, fresh, with a long and salty finish. The tannins offer a solid body and suggest a beautiful aptitude for aging.

Food and wine pairing :

Ideal on character dishes, game, spicy cuisine or a nice assortment of cheeses.
Decant before tasting to release the aromatic texture.
Can age over  5 to 7 years
