CAVE LA ROMAINE

Right in the heart of Provence, Cave La Romaine, created in 1924, was one of the first cooperatives of the Vaucluse.

Nowadays, our cellar comprises around 280 wine growers and more than 1400 hectares of vineyards.

Vaison-la-Romaine has a prestigious geographical and cultural heritage:

•  The exceptional Roman & medieval remains (the 2000-year-old Roman Bridge, the Roman Theatre and the picturesque Haute Ville with its Castle).

•  The famous Mont Ventoux, also called the giant of Provence, which reigns over the region.

This diversity is also found in our wines, which proudly reveal the multiplicity of our soils: AOC Ventoux, Côtes du Rhône, Côtes du Rhône Villages, Communaux et Crus (Roaix, Séguret, Puyméras, Cairanne, Vinsobres), Vin de Pays (Baronnies et Méditerranée), not to mention our Vin Doux Naturel, l’Or de Vaison.
